Structure of PES TC 00210:
PES is an amorphous, transparent and light amber high performance thermoplastic.
Property of PES TC 00210:
PES is slightly more heat resistant than PEI, but not as heat resistant as PEEK. Of all commercially available transparent thermoplastics, it is the most heat resistant. Its water absorption capacity is rlt. high and, as with many other plastics, drying is essential before thermoforming. Polyethersulphone is not particularly resistant to fatigue and tends to stress cracking. Its thermal ageing resistance is good and its resistance to radiation is adequate. In terms of chemical resistance, polyethersulfone is not as good as PEEK, so stable solutions can be made with polyethersulfone if the right solvents are selected.
Application of PES TC 00210:
PES is used in electrical and electronic components, medical equipment that requires repeated sterilisation and photographic accessories.
