EIC is an annual conference on the applications of liquid, solid and gas materials in America. EIC technical programs include practical application, analysis and operational experience with liquid, solid and gas insulating materials.

The pre-conference event included short courses by renowned technical experts in the areas of partial discharge, transformers and rotating machinery. Exhibits and technical papers included the latest developments in electrical insulation materials, condition assessment and diagnostics, instrumentation, transformers, switchgear, outdoor insulation, cable diagnostics, nanodielectrics, testing technology and more.

Immediately following the conference, a series of IEEE Working Group meetings will be held to discuss new IEEE standards and revisions to existing standards for insulation materials.

As always, the IEEE Working Group meetings are open to all interested guests. Parallel tracks or poster sessions will feature presentations on practical applications of electrical insulation systems and materials, and diagnostic methods for all types of electrical and electronic equipment.
