Structure:

Apical® av fi 16008 is an electrical insulating film manufactured from polyimide.

Property:

Apical® av fi 16008 is tensile and tear resistant and exhibits excellent electrical properties. This material has excellent heat and cold resistance, shows only low shrinkage even at high temperatures and excellent chemical resistance. Apical® av fi 16008 is accordingly characterized by a high thermal endurance of 230 °C and is classified as self-extinguishing according to ul 94 v-0. Apical® av fi 16008 can be laminated, metallized, stamped, formed and coated.

Application:

Apical® av fi 16008 is used for a wide range of insulation applications in electrical engineering and electronics, e.g. for insulation of windings, as slot insulation for electric motors, insulation of cables and winding wires, transformer and capacitor insulation.

Standard colour:

Apical® av fi 16008 is supplied in the colour amber.

Storage conditions:
