Construction:
Tecfilm® PEN TC 00140 is a flexible, slightly opaque, biaxially oriented polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) film.
Properties:
Tecfilm® PEN TC 00140 has an enhanced property profile in every respect compared to PET polyester films. The increased temperature resistance leads to approval of the film in temperature class F (155 °C). Further advantages of Tecfilm® PEN TC 00140 are: very high dielectric strength, great mechanical strength, high stiffness, low moisture absorption, easy lamination.
Applications:
Tecfilm® PEN TC 00140 has been specially developed for use in electric motors with increased stress as slot and phase insulation and as a cover slide.
