Mylar a fi 13010 is an electrical insulating film manufactured on polyethylene terephthalate.
It is used as a surface insulating material up to and including insulating material class b (130°C).

Mylar a fi 13010 is tensile and tear resistant, dimensionally stable and exhibits excellent electrical properties.
This material exhibits good heat and cold resistance to the most common solvents.

Slot closures made of Mylar a fi 13010 - 0.350 mm thick, 1000 x 10 x 2.0 mm are used in electrical engineering to close the groove.
It is possible to reinforce the Slot closures with adhesive tape.
