Tecfilm® PE HD TC 00070
Description:
Tecfilm® PE HD TC 00070 is a semi-crystalline (typically 70%-80%), whitish, semi-transparent utility thermoplastic with properties similar to Tecfilm® PE LD TC 00080. However, rigid polyethylene is significantly more durable and rigid, it also has even better resistance to chemical substances. Its impact strength is quite high.
Tecfilm® PE HD TC 00070 is also impact resistant at low temperatures, but not to the same extent as Tecfilm® PE LD TC 00080. Its electrical properties are very good, especially in high frequency applications. The barrier properties of Tecfilm® PE HD TC 00070 are medium.

Applications for Tecfilm® PE HD TC 00070 include a wide variety of containers, blown bottles for food, pipes and pipe fittings, and packaging films.
